Wrose, West Yorkshire — Saturday, 5th July 2025 — A cherished community tradition is back and better than ever — the Wrose Carnival returns to Wrose Recreation Ground on Saturday, 5th July from 11am to 5pm, promising a vibrant celebration packed with music, colour, laughter, and meaning. This year, the carnival proudly supports Andy’s Man Club, a leading UK men’s mental health charity committed to providing free, peer-to-peer support for men in need.
Hosted annually by volunteers and local organisations, the Wrose Carnival is more than just an event — it’s a showcase of local pride, a platform for togetherness, and a reminder of the power of community. With live entertainment, a bustling marketplace of local traders, family fun zones, and community performances, this year’s festivities are set to be truly unforgettable.
But the heart of this year’s carnival is its message: connection, joy, and mental well-being. That’s why the 2025 event will highlight and raise funds for Andy’s Man Club, whose work in tackling male suicide and providing safe spaces for men to talk is making a life-changing impact across the UK.

🌟 A Parade of Positivity: “What Makes You Happy”
One of the day’s biggest highlights will be the return of the much-loved Wrose Carnival Parade, winding through the streets of Wrose and culminating at the recreation ground. This year’s theme, “What Makes You Happy,” invites local schools, youth groups, clubs, and residents to get creative and express the people, places, and moments that bring them joy.
Expect a dazzling procession of decorated floats, walking performers, costumes, music, and surprises, all reflecting the uplifting spirit of the community. Whether it’s family, pets, hobbies, nature, or kindness — the parade will be a living, moving display of happiness and unity.

“We wanted this year’s parade to really celebrate what brings people joy, especially after challenging times,” says Sarah Laycock, Carnival Coordinator. “It’s about lifting spirits, bringing people together, and showing that Wrose is a place where every voice and every smile matters.”
